Eyes shifting from corner to corner, Lizvette watched as other students walked around her. Some remarking to each other about how incredibly tall she was. It made a corner of her mouth raise in an awkward smile. To some people, she stopped them and gave them a flyer. "Student Council is hosting a meet and greet for all new students." She told them as she passed the papers. Seeing the uncertainty in some, she glared at them. "It's mandatory." They would hustle off to their lockers or classrooms after that kind of sales pitch.
Honestly, she didn't care if they came or not. This was one of those friendly events that she loathed. She wasn't really a social person like the their president or even remotely charismatic like the other members of the student council. The less people there, the less people she had to put on a sweet and welcoming persona for. She would never be that person and there would be- She blinked. She spotted blonde wavy hair and straightened up her posture. She looked around. She was standing right in the open. She danced on her tip-toes, looking back and forth for a place to hide. She decided on a spot beside the vending machines and peeked around the corner.
"Yeah, it's cool right? The stuff just came in a box!" The blonde she had spotted was laughing and talking to his friends as he walked by but like a slingshot, Lizvette jumped at him like a wrestler. His friends stumbled away and looked on in terror as she picked the boy off of the floor. His feet dangled as she held him by the shirt.
"You're not Heath." She growled and lifted him higher in the air, above her head. "How dare you be blonde and have wavy hair!" She yelled as the young man writhed in her grip. She dropped him to the floor and turned around, eyeing the courtyard to see if anyone had witnessed her transgression. "Go away." She snorted and went to pick up the stack of papers she'd dropped.

Those Secrets hidden in our childish lips Adam wasn't a social person, at least not anymore. The way he used to be back then and the person he's becoming was like the difference between salt and sugar. One kid that was all too salty about everything after he was betrayed by his own best friend while the other suddenly lost his care for almost everything. But being in the student council meant that he had to put on a friendly expression or try to woo younger students into joining whatever they came up with. It wasn't all that bad, really. Just like now, the boy had papers with him, he already gave a lot to some of the students while using his 'charm' to make them accept the paper and actually say that they were coming to the meeting.
Adam's half-lidded eyes surveyed the crowd for a familiar face among the peers, but for a while the hallways was filled with people he had never seen before, or perhaps he saw them but never started a conversation with them. Adam ran his tongue over the flesh of his bottom lip, just a quick swipe before his feet carried him forward, gently offering the papers to anyone who glanced at him. He slipped past them with a whispered 'thank you' and left them behind without bothering to look behind him, they could throw the papers for he cares, what matters now was that his hands were empty and no longer occupied by thousands of papers.
Adam decided to give himself a reward by approaching one of the vending machines to get himself a drink, perhaps orange juice would be enough to make him feel satisfied for at least a couple of hours before eating some sort of dull meal. Once he entered the coin and heard it get lost inside the machine, he pressed on the blue button and his drink of choice came down to his feet. He bent down to pick the bottle before he stood up. Adam heard someone yell and when he curiously turned his head to look at the source of noise, he saw a man, lifted in the air by none other than Lizvette.
He never had the chance to have a proper conversation with her so he never acted like he knew her very well to be friendly around her, but she was the vice-president, after all, he at least held some respect towards the lady. The boy scrambled away after she released him, he pushed past Adam and the boy could hear his rapid breathing as he ran for his life. Adam quirked an eyebrow, his friend jogging to catch up with him. “Excuse me, uh, what happened?” The older student asked and his friend stopped to explain what happened before he bowed his head in apology and bidding her farewell before she went back on her old task of going after the boy.
His eyes went back to settle on the female's back, approaching to gather some of the papers that flew away to another different spot. Adam squatted down on his haunches to gather them in an orderly manner before he lazily stood back up. He cleared his throat to announce his presence, “Not my place, but you really can't blame people for being blonde and having wavy hair.” Adam stated calmly, glancing at the other. “He could report you, you know? The guy probably pissed his pants, too.”

Lizvette's body seized as someone spoke to her. Her eyes moved slowly to the corners of the direction she heard the voice come from. She turned her head slowly and looked behind her. Her shoulders sank. It was just Adam. She'd found herself thinking that phrase often since the start of school. It was rather interesting to see how the school's tastes changed in student council officers. Not that Adam was an interesting choice. She groaned to herself. Who cared about any of this stuff?
"He scared me, okay?" She complained as she snatched the papers from him. Although she thoroughly enjoyed making other students wet themselves. She stared at Adam. She realized herself how ridiculous that excuse sounded. Who exactly gave her a scare? Well, this creep for one. "We're not all Easter Island heads like you." She said gripping the papers tightly and waving them in his face. She crossed her arms over her chest, turning away from him slightly. It was best to change the subject. "Did you pass out all of your flyers or did you just add them to my pile?" Her lip curled as she asked the question. If he had, he'd be the next one she jacks up against the wall. She flicked through her papers and the weight felt right.
"I don't know why I even bother helping with these sort of things." She turned and started walking. "You could get this sort of thing done perfectly fine on your own." Rilo and her togetherness plans were the cause of such issues. "It'd be good if we worked together." She mocked a quote from the student council president. "Phooey!" She spat. "Just a bunch of nonsense!" She then gave a snort. She didn't need any help running this school. She could do it all on her own. She certainly didn't need any help from these 'elected' students.
She walked back to the middle of the area and began passing out the flyers again. Throwing out her arm and forcing people to take the pieces of paper while wearing the most displeased expression ever to be put on a human face. She was disgusted with everyone and she made it no secret. If she wasn't such a large girl, she would've been bullied into social obscurity long ago. She sent a glance to Adam, something rather neutral at first. Her shoulders lowered and the corners of her mouth dipped low to form a deep frown.
"You could've bought me a damn juice, ya know?"

Those Secrets hidden in our childish lips A complain slipped past the other's lips and Adam narrowed his eyes to slits. Who gave Lizvette a scare? Hearing that from anyone else might be believable, but from the woman in front of him? He found it incredibly hard to believe. Hearing that she scared students, made them fear the existence of monsters and probably quit school would be believable, in a heartbeat, they'd know that it wasn't a lie. “You. Scared. Right.” His tone was incredulous to say the least, but he tried hard to restrict it, but it eventually slipped.
We're not all Easter Island heads like you.
With the following action, the boy blinked a few times when she started to wave the papers in his face making him roll his eyes. Adam gave his head a slight tilt before a frown of confusion appeared on his forehead. “Am I supposed to be feel insulted? I'll be taking this as a compliment.” Adam said truthfully, his stretching into a box-smile, dark eyes stilled on the familiar frame of the other who was around the same age as him. From what he heard about Lizvette, she's the one person nobody would dare to mess with, or even talk back, they'd just tuck their tails between their legs and scramble to find some place safe where they'd not sense her wrath, but Adam saw her as a vice-president and nothing like the 'legends' spreading around school.
Did you pass out all of your flyers or did you just add them to my pile?
Adam glanced down at the pile she snatched from his hands before letting his eyes move up to search for hers. “I think you already have your fair share of piles, It would be impolite to do such a thing.” Adam said a little too sweetly, his hands clasped behind his back, standing still. He didn't want to leave her alone for many reasons, so he decided to tag along without asking for permission because he knew he'd hear a loud and clear 'no'.
I don't know why I even bother helping with these sort of things. You could get this sort of thing done perfectly fine on your own.
He followed after like a loyal puppy, glancing at her, but she was already walking ahead of him so all he saw was hair and nothing more. “Because you're the vice president. I don't see why you should not.” Adam said after a while. “True, but the students would feel more comfortable to see the vice president acting humble enough to hand out this sort of thing on her own.” If he valued his life and pride, he should definitely tone down with the attitude, but that was just the way he talked, he was blunt and definitely not the one to shy down from stating the truth.
You could've bought me a damn juice, ya know?
Lizvette continued on, mocking, complaining rather loudly. She was passing the flyers all too roughly to the students, Adam gave bows of his head in apology. Her voice snapped him out and he quirked an eyebrow. “Uh, no, I don't. You never said you wanted a juice.” The boy said, clearly confused about the sudden words. “You can have it, if you want.” I don't want to get poisoned, he wanted to say, but he pursed his lips and kept his mouth shut instead.

Lizvette stared at him. She turned her head, deciding to look elsewhere. This would be why she hated men. Adam didn't have any reason to assume that she wanted a juice. Offering her one never came to his mind. It was a humane thing to do for a partner you were working together. Well, not exactly humane. Just a feminine thing to do, she suspected. Girls were much more different when it came to socialization. Lizvette wasn't exactly living proof of that. She had always been told that she behaved like a boy but thought like a girl, a ridiculously strong girl.
"Hmph!" She smiled wryly. Why should she expect anything or even ask such a question? She was the boss at this moment in time. The boss was a leader. "You can keep it. I hardly get thirsty." She said, throwing her hands on her hips and having a big laugh all by herself. Her good mood over inward victory paled quickly and she sent a glare at Adam.
"Are you assigned to this?" She asked him, pointing at the papers. "Meaning, are you signed up to play chaperone with me?" She clarified with a blink. She guessed that the main four would be there. The only person she knew particularly well being Rilo put a damper on whatever fun she could have from such an event. "Do you want to go together?" She gave another blink. "It'd probably be a good thing if we all made an entrance at once." She lifted the papers to stare at them and then flapped them around in her hand.
She could only hope that her blonde angel would descend from heaven to be there. She got the shivers and gave a giggle to herself. Soft blonde hair, features carved as if from the finest marble, beautiful eyes that peered into a person's soul... She had closed her eyes and began to drool from the corner of her mouth. She reached out and hugged Adam, pretending he was Heath for a moment. She blinked, letting go and gave a twirl.
"He'll tell me that he wants to date me and then marry me. We'll-" Her eyelids drooped. Why was she telling Adam this? He could have mistaken that sort of thing. She pointed at him with a grimace. "You didn't hear any of that! I do not fantasize about dating and getting married to a guy that I like."

► RILO MCCARTHY words it slowed, so BAM here's the prez, delete if u dun want it here | It hadn’t honestly been her plan to create this event; Rilo wasn’t that creative. The dean had mentioned it - well rather than mentioned, more like If you don’t do this, I’ll be displeased. With a sigh, she was now heading off from working on her notes and speech to find Adam and Lizvette, since they were probably out handing flyers like she’d asked. Was it too much to ask for help? By the noise she heard up ahead, it was.
Rilo had crept up on the duo, hiding in between students, trying to judge the situation before she stepped in. When Lizvette was going off, it definitely was a good idea to take in what was going on around before approaching. Clutching her books close to her chest, she flinched as she heard Liz comment on something she hadn’t even said. Well, she had mentioned something like it but not that cheesey.
With a sigh she stepped forward and fell in behind Adam. Lizvette was already turned around - ranting about how this wasn’t fair and whatnot. Poor Adam didn’t seem to know how to deal with Liz. Honestly, Rilo had a hard time dealing with her most of the time. However, she did envy the girl and her ferocity.
Ah - there it was, she had turned back around, so Rilo ducked behind Adam. They had stopped moving, so she stood there, listening as they spoke about going to the entrance ceremony together. She really doesn’t think much of me, huh? Well, that was sad. Rilo was trying hard. Huffing she finally came out from behind Adam, and the height comparison was rather amusing to herself, so most likely to others. Five feet three inches - not the tallest but not a midget.
“Now that I’ve confirmed a couple things, how about we get food? We still have a good bit of time before we’re needed…” she said, clearing her throat. Her gaze was resting firmly on Lizvette, hoping that she seemed slightly authoritative. That was her goal, anyway.
