ain't no hollaback girl Odette Lillian Willoughby was tucked safely within her dorm room doing her own thing, as per usual. Normally she'd have been out and about after classes, but she wanted to take a little time to herself this afternoon; she'd been feeling a little down and there was nothing better than treating yo self. Thus, she was tying her cropped locks up into the perfect ballerina bun that she had practiced a few too many times, wearing nothing more than baggy sweats and her sports bra. The lean muscles in her torso tensed as she moved about her room, tidying this and that, looking for something to do. It was hardly as if she'd no friends to text, but she didn't really want to do that same old thing that happened more often than not. No, she craved attention, she wanted some flair. There was one way to get just that, though she hardly knew if her ideas would work. Might as well give it a shot! She spun around her bed gracefully and gave a little twirl to where her laptop sat, only to bend and grab the speakers that were tucked safely within the lowermost drawer of her dresser. After about thirty minutes of leaning over her desk, she managed to get her Spotify working. She put on some of the latest hits and turned the volume up, a small smile crossing her face. It took a few more moments for her to arrive at the doorway, only to muster the loudest voice she could. "DANCE PARTY!" A girly thing, but a fun thing no less. Whoever heard was more than welcome to come dance with the young woman, though given how dead the hallways seemed she hardly thought she would garner much attention. She returned to the speakers and increased the volume of the music so that the speakers were practically blaring the fresh beats, only to pull away and begin moving her body to the music, angled away from the door. NOTES: do whatever your heart desires. she's jammin' to this. TAGGED: @open

Despite his lack of emotional complexities, for whatever reason the red-headed, senior, boxing captain had more female friends than most could possibly have during their entire schooling experience. This wasn't because of his conversational skills or the ability to speak on just about any senseless topic out there, but rather came from his honesty as well as his loyal nature. Of course, numerous females came to him because of his looks and physical fitness; however most of the time Jay chose to exclude them from his pool of friends. They weren't important to him, and while Jay wasn't entirely personable; he did try his best to help those he considered close. Jamie was one such girl, and given she wasn't doing as well as she could have been in Statistics; Jay had decided to offer her some assistance. Thankfully she didn't make much of a show of it, and had instead allowed him the opportunity to tutor her. It looked excellent on an application, not to mention it was a way to solidify his bonds with those that may not have been so close before. Needless to say, Jay had defiantly broken school rules by coming into the girl's dorm unannounced. They likely could have done it somewhere more public and acceptable, but to be honest it didn't seem like Jamie wanted her lack of mathematics knowledge to be held against her. So it was only appropriate that they have a study session in her room instead, and thankfully her roommate was nowhere to be found. Jamie had told him that she'd be out for the rest of the day, and that they'd the room to themselves. Now, Jay would have found it peculiar if he hadn't known Jamie as well as he did. He didn't bother taking it in any other context besides the one it was meant to be. [break][break] They'd finished though, and nothing had transpired between the two that would have made the situation awkward. In fact, it was a pleasant experience for Jay to do something against the rules. It almost felt as invigorating as hitting the bag every now and again, but it would sadly have to end. He needed to get back to his room before he got caught, it was getting somewhat late anyway and knew the trouble would only steepen the longer he was out. It was far less troubling to be seen leaving the girl's dorm in the middle of the day, but late at night? There was a major problem with the latter, and he had a lot of explaining to do if that had been the case. So with his book-bag in tow, he closed the door after waving Jamie away. His calm expression persisting as he made his way past the various doors that lined the hall. It wasn't until he'd gotten closer to the stairs that the blaring began, the music coming from the room to his left. His brow rose and his hand slid further down the strap of his bag, already waiting to see what the cause was. How disrespectful, he thought as the female opened up the door to announce the part she was having. It was certainly rude to blare music in such a way when others may have been trying to relax, but Jay wasn't going to bust anything...especially considering he wasn't supposed to be here. Instead he made his way over, turning the knob before peeking his head in. He opened the door entirely, watching the girl dance around with quiet amusement. "You having fun?" His voice was even filled with the obvious happiness that the seen had brought him.
