Cause darling I'm a
nightmare
dressed like a
daydream
sometimes, once in awhile, even theodore massinger would question the things he decided on his own. not often per se, but still very much possible. like this moment, in specific, where he realized that he was absolutely alone due to the fact that... well no matter, because for one reason or another: he was the only leisure club member as of this moment.
unlike members of the other clubs, the junior wasn't necessarily interested in the 'prize' of catching the freshmen and then forcing them to run around the track field. no, freshman run meant little to nothing to him if it weren't because it would expose him to more of the school's population. the half that he maybe wouldn't have met otherwise. it was more or less his way of scouting out potential leisure club members, really. people who would try and 'make the boring, ordinary school life a bit more interesting' alongside of him. after all, what else was he to do with all the extra time he had on his hands?
and so, there he was, sitting in a single loveseat at a table with fine tea set. surrounding him was a bluetooth stereo system that was currently playing through chopin's nocturnes; just a little strange and almost halloween-like perhaps (especially when it's midnight and they were technically outside), but how else was he supposed to pass the time while waiting for some of the other (lost) students to wander over?
a small sigh left the sixteen-year-old's mouth as he took another sip of his tea, "it's starting to taste disgusting, cordelia," he said boredly to his personal maid, waving his teacup slightly in the air, "make me some more," he said while pushing himself up to his feet. one hand picked up and turned on the flashlight near him, scanning briefly across their surrounding area to check for possible 'intruders' (otherwise known as 'little lost lambs'). "better be nice and scalding hot when i return."
